Joe and Vicki Josue welcome you to Southside BBQ
When it comes to food, the Josues know how to do it right! To them, barbecue is a major food group.
In May 2026, Southside BBQ & Catering won another award when it was named “Small Business of the Year – Chesapeake” by the Hampton Roads Chamber.
Joe has been stoking the family fires for years, to much local acclaim.
“You should sell your barbecue,” friends said, to which Joe quietly nodded.
Southside BBQ & Catering made its first big public appearance at South Norfolk’s 2019 Fourth of July Celebration. They sold out before 1 p.m.
Today, the secret’s out. The little barbecue shop is open for take-out and catering!
